1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Claude Project Downloader (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. The Service

The Extension is a Chrome browser extension provided by Claude Project Downloader ("we", "our", "us") that helps you download files, chats, and content from your own Claude.ai projects. The Extension is free to use, and stays free: a daily allowance of exports plus one full project export, with no account required and no trial that expires. You may optionally support the developer, which switches on extra perks — unlimited exports and unlimited full project exports — as a thank-you. Supporting is voluntary and no free feature depends on it. Support can be sent either from our website, where the payment is handled by Freemius, or from inside the Extension, where it is handled by BuyMeMomo and Stripe. Either route is a single payment, never a subscription.

3. What Supporting Gets You, and For How Long

Supporter perks are switched on once and are not time-limited, so we sometimes describe them as lasting a "lifetime." That refers to the lifetime of the Extension as a supported product — it is not measured against your own lifetime, and it is not a promise that the Extension or Claude.ai's underlying page structure, which the Extension depends on, will exist or keep working forever.

• •If we discontinue the Extension, or it stops working because Anthropic changes the Claude.ai interface in a way we can't reasonably keep up with, your perks end along with it. Section 7 sets out how refunds work.
• •Supporting covers the perks that exist at the time you support, plus updates and bug fixes we choose to ship, at our discretion, for as long as the Extension remains active. It does not obligate us to build any specific future feature.
• •We may change the suggested support amount or the perks offered to new supporters at any time, without affecting perks already switched on for existing supporters.

4. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Anthropic can change Claude.ai's interface or export formats at any time in ways that break the Extension, and we make no promise it will remain compatible indefinitely.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claude Project Downloader and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension is limited to the amount you have actually paid us, if any. Because the Extension is free, that amount is nothing at all for most users, and for supporters it is the single amount they chose to send.

6. Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Extension complies with Anthropic's own Terms of Service for Claude.ai, and for the content you choose to export or download. You agree to indemnify and hold Claude Project Downloader harmless from any claim arising out of your use of exported content or your violation of these Terms or a third party's rights.

7. Refunds

Because supporting is voluntary rather than a purchase you had to make, we do not argue about refunds. If you change your mind, or the Extension does not work for you, contact support and we will return what you sent, no questions asked. We do not impose a deadline on this.

8. Changes to the Extension or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Extension after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
